Reality Was More Than She Seemed

She Said Her Name Really Was Reality

She Smelled Of Old Dark Potpourri

Her Eyes In Her Gaze Did Truly Emote

A World That Amazed Quite Remote

A Blackened Sun And Cold White Moon

She Lived On The Edge Of A Dark Lagoon

And Made Her Money Doing Divination

Or Casting Spells Of Blessing Or Damnation

Yet That Was All Of Which She Was Forthcoming

When I Asked For Any More She Just Said Nothing

And When We Settled Into My Bed For The Night

She Put Lips To My Ear Then Whispered Reality Bites !

LET ME DIE FOR YOU

Please just stay with me
Flying on cold wings of death
And share with me

The blood of memory

Keep me inside
Your blackened heart
Those oceans of blood
Canít keep us apart

Centuries stained with crimson tears
Drink from those scarlet cascades
Feed on me, take everything, my dear
Do you still remember

Our first kiss
On the streets of Pompeii?

Let me die for you

If I fade away
Like ash on the winter breeze
In grips of day

Our love withstands the grave

You can find me
Within your heart
Withered and undead
Canít keep us apart

Memories shine with the doom of dawn
Sip from those scarlet cascades
Travesties tattooed onto pale pawns
Do you still remember

Our first kiss
On the streets of Pompeii?

Let me die for you

Once again

I suffer the torture of oblivion
Every night beneath burning torches
No rest for the wicked tried and cruel
But the pain is void as long as Iím with you

You can find me
Within your heart
Withered and undead
Canít keep us apart

Memories shine with the doom of dawn
Sip from those scarlet cascades
Travesties tattooed onto pale pawns
Do you still remember

Our first kiss
On the streets of Pompeii?

Let me die for you

Keep me inside
Your blackened heart
Those oceans of blood
Canít keep us apart

Centuries stained with crimson tears
Drink from those scarlet cascades
Feed on me, take everything, my dear
Do you still remember

Our first kiss
On the streets of Pompeii?

Let me die for you

Once again

FALLEN

I've been watching
Intoxicated
The scent of blood
Washes over me

From your first whimper
To your last lament
Your guardian angel
Fallen
Is watching over you

I am obsessed
And quite possessed
Demon above
Whispers in my ear

Be my impaler
Nail in my coffin
Your guardian angel
Fallen
Is watching over you

Iíll find you in the Carpathian mist
When eons pass in midnightmare gloom
You will long to taste my vampiric kiss
And lead me to my cold open tomb
The howls of wolves in Transylvanian nights
Face reckoning and the holy doom
Together at last in lasting twilight
And lead me to my cold open tomb

At your last lament
Iíll be your Dracul
Your guardian angel
Fallen
Is watching over you

Dark Velvet Vow

As the unveiled day is cast away
I come to seek thou, I come to find thou
Oh, internal stranger, speak to me from without
Speak to me from within and starlight constellations that travel the skies

I seek solemnly, Inwardly and comfort of strangers befriends me
I have lost the will to live, said she, said she,
the burdens in me burn like aspen ash

Shrine of substantial silence surrounds me,it opens its arms
Traveler on a lost highway, take me home,
take me from this withered whitewalled place

To find me, is to seek tormented tender tales, of luminous luring
The hills have their eyes upon me, as I climb the edge and surface my step
Embracing ethereal exsistence, as I draw a final breath

The nymphs of necromancy, the sealed secrecy,
I invoke intrusive islands of embedded lust
I invoke you, come now mortal death

Spiraling sounds above me humming high
 whilst darkness drowns me
My flesh burns deeper than the truth
That hurts the most but kills the least

I am eternally embedded
In broken bones and roots of sycamore tree
Thou shall never awake me
Thou shall never awake me

THE WRETCHEDNESS OF I

Upon black wings of utter despair
The moon, she shines, with malice and contempt
For this one, the wretchedness of I

Forgive me, Mother
What have I done?

I cannot wash the blood from my hands
They are stained with the dead and the dying
All the sacrifices Iíve made for you

Mother, keep me safe from the hateful dawn
And clutches, the torches, of his wrathful spawn
Cold may be the night but your light is pure
Together we leave a trail of the spiteful torn

Will the blood suffice, that I offer
The river flows crimson just to honor you
I will kill again to slake your thirst

Goddamn me, Mother
What have I done?

Why do we fade into memory?
I canít help but to think what becomes of us
Thine own son, the wretchedness of I

Mother, keep me safe from the hateful dawn
And clutches, the torches, of his wrathful spawn
Cold may be the night but your light is pure
Together we leave a trail of the spiteful torn

i believe the worst is coming
sooner rather than later
the devil on my shoulders
is at war with the demons
inside that fight for your heart
i will feast on godís children
and the tides will rise over
the mountains of the dead

Worship you, Mother
What have I done?

Mother, keep me safe from the hateful dawn
And clutches, the torches, of his wrathful spawn
Cold may be the night but your light is pure
Together we leave a trail of the spiteful torn

Goddamn me, Mother
What have I done?

Mother, keep me safe from the hateful dawn
And clutches, the torches, of his wrathful spawn
Cold may be the night but your light is pure
Together we leave a trail of the spiteful torn

i believe the worst is coming
sooner rather than later
the devil on my shoulders
is at war with the demons
inside that fight for your heart
i will feast on godís children
and the tides will rise over
the mountains of the dead

I BELIEVE THE WORST IS COMING
SOONER RATHER THAN LATER
THE DEVIL ON MY SHOULDERS
IS AT WAR WITH THE DEMONS
INSIDE THAT FIGHT FOR YOUR HEART
I WILL FEAST ON GODíS CHILDREN
AND THE TIDES WILL RISE OVER
THE MOUNTAINS OF THE DEAD

and the tides will rise over
the mountains of the dead

My Love, Eternal

I long for her kiss,
Her bite,
The solemn right to be her one and only love,
Her traveling companion through the sands of time
From here on.

In the dark of night,
With sacred rite I write of her ominous beauty,
Of her lovely features
As if obscure creatures lurking in the shadows
Possess me and inspire me to transform.

But here I wait,
Amidst the trees under the pale moonlight,
I am no more a man or savage beast
Desiring her caress looming in the cold night,
Right before she strikes.

I can sense her coming,
The way she treads the air,
My senses heighten with anticipation,
Eager for the pain and pleasure of her fang.

ďNot like this my loveĒ she says in a dark tone,
The scent of death and darkness is in the air,
And as the moon hides behind the clouds,
Howling at the sky out loud,
I begin to take my human form again.

ďYesĒ she adds,
Her lovely evil grin and sinister smile,
She approaches my naked body,
Quivering in the cold,
Caressing me,
ďDrinkĒ she says
ďÖand weíll be together forever, my love.Ē
