Thanks, A! I guess I just needed to moan to someone. If she was still around, I would have called my mom today.

Aww. Warm chicken noodle soup sometimes helps. Or it did when I was a carnivore. Weighted blankets too - they make you feel hugged.

Pass the vodka.

Why is it illegal to burn down cities?

I just read that people accuse writers who use em-dashes of using ChatGPT — and I’m shocked!!

I love using em-dashes (—) as much as I love using semi-colons (;), and colons (:), and hyphens (-), and parenthesis (()), and exclamation marks (!), etc. and have been using them long before ChatGPT was even a concept!

Em-dashes (—) are perfectly dramatic and I love them. No em-dash user slander shall prosper—for realz.

No weeping, no wailing, no gnashing of teeth?

Then fall, Caesar.

It is probably the people who use no punctuation whatsoever (not to mention capitals at the beginning of sentences) who believe that only ChatGPT knows how to use such "wizardry". Personally, I love to use ALL of it - the more clauses and phrases I can pack into a sentence, the better!

LOL! You're probably right! I love punctuation! That is why I ran a punctuation thread years ago!
