The anchor to my heart, that told me love radiates from the deep abyss

The Keys To A Healthy Mind, A Peaceful Temple, To An Uplifting Soul (Thursday Girls Night Out Health Discussion)
It is November and we are heading into a new month. This is the time to plan in preparing to take care of your temple with the benefits of eating healthy and being in a great state of mind.
I dedicate this essay to anyone who is diabetic or who has been diagnosed as borderline diabetes, in addition, the risk and the concerns involved when diabetes goes uncontrolled by adopting a poor lifestyle; an inadequate diet, non-motivation, and not keeping the Chi at its peak to perform at its maximum performance.
What is diabetes
Diabetes Mellitus refers to a group of diseases that affect how your body uses blood sugar (glucose). Glucose is vital to your health because it's an important source of energy for the cells that make up your muscles and tissues. It’s also your brain’s main source of fuel.
Diabetes I, mainly happen when your immune system destroys cells in your pancreas called beta cells. They’re the ones that make insulin.
Diabetes II is a chronic condition in which the body does not use insulin properly. This causes blood sugar levels to rise, which can lead to other health problems.
Gestational diabetes only occurs during pregnancy but may resolve after the baby is delivered.
It is very crucial to take care of one’s self from head to toes.
An Eye Exam
The first exam I will recommend is a complete dilated diabetic eye exam. During your screening the Ophthalmologist or Optometrist will rule out certain aspects that could be a deterring factor of having a normal vison acuity, such as to rule our Diabetic Retinopathy, Macular Degenerative Disease, or Glaucoma and during that eye exam, early Cataracts will be ruled out.
Please make sure your get this exam on a yearly basis.
Dental Checkup
Most people do not realize being a diabetic can affect the health of your gums, therefore, please make it a priority to floss, and use a non- alcoholic antiseptic mouth rinse I cannot stress the importance of that regiment enough; it keeps gingivitis away (inflammation of the gum line), and the smile is what surely attracts. Your pearly whites are your signature to the world.
If you have dentures, please keep your dentures clean prior to usage.
Please make sure this exam is done every six months to a year.
Prostate Exam (Men Health)
Gentlemen, please make an appointment to get your Prostate checked and have your Physician/Nurse Practitioner also order you a PSA.
The PSA test is a simple blood test ad it is used primarily used to screen for prostate cancer. The blood test measures the amount of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) in a man's blood. PSA is a protein produced by both cancerous and noncancerous tissue in the prostate, a small gland located below the bladder in males
Foot Exam
This is the biggest overlooked exam, and please pay close attention to your feet, your skin in general. There are several concerns for a person living with diabetes or caring for a diabetic loved one.
The toe nailbed should be kept dry and clean at all times, and not yellowish, if so, then there is most likely a fungal, which may require medical attention for a prescribed topical fungal emollient.
The legs should be supple, as in good vascular circulation and no signs of pitting edema (Pitting edema is when a swollen part of your body has a dimple (or pit) after you press it for a few seconds).
If there is any numbness or tingling to the toes, or legs, make sure you tell your physician to check you for Diabetic Neuropathy, that is a medical condition that befalls many diabetics.
Diabetic Neuropathy is a serious diabetes complication which primarily affects fifty percent of people with diabetes. This condition is a type of nerve damage that can occur if you have diabetes. Anyone who lives with diabetes and when the glucose is high or uncontrolled it can impair nerves throughout your body. Diabetic neuropathy most often damages nerves in your legs and feet.
You should get your feet checked every time you have a follow-up appointment with your physician.
There are other tests that should be done during a diabetic exam, such as getting your urine tested, to rule out any abnormalities regarding the kidney function; to see if there is any glucose, or ketones noted(High ketone levels in urine may indicate diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), a complication of diabetes that can lead to a coma or even death) the Ph Balance (this urine result looks at how acidic or alkaline a person’s urine is, the average value for urine pH is 6.0) WBC (bacteria) RBC (possible trauma to kidney or stones) or nitrate (UTI).
Fasting Labs (A test whereas you will refrain from eating or drinking anything after twelve midnight).
A Cholesterol test for a diabetic it is very vital and an overall key to keep the kidneys functioning and hypertension controlled.
Most physicians will prescribe some form of statin medication, it is use as a precautionary measurement for someone who also has high blood pressure, and diabetes, a medication combination to make sure you do not end up on dialysis after the kidneys fails to function and filter out its toxins, therefore, take your medication(s) as prescribed.
This test should be repeated only after comparison from the last results or if there is a slight elevation and your physician has to make any adjustments to your medication(s) or supplementing with another.
A1C is a test to advise your physician how well you control your blood sugar levels. Most results show your average over the past 3 months, and if you take your medications, exercise and modify your diets, with the four groups on the food pyramid, then they should be within a normal range.
For women who have diabetes
It is a known fact, you are more prone to suffer from reoccurring yeast infections, therefore, make sure your get your GYN exams and your Pap Smears every two years and every six months for any abnormal Pap Smear, in addition, if you are forty and over, you may as well get a mammogram, and earlier if you fall heredity to Breast Cancer.
Therefore, if you are a diabetic, please take care of yourself… make this your year to shine, it will be fall soon and you want to make sure you are feeling good from the inside and admired from the outside.

Before I even begin, ladies please make sure you check your breasts for this month (December) and if you are of age to get a yearly mammogram, please do not hesitate to get one, sometimes it is better to know than to find out some unsettling new much later. As a nurse, it is disheartening to hear from a female she wished she had gotten screened, much sooner, well I am your cheering fan to make sure you do at some point in your livelihood
Okay ladies and yes, even gentlemen too, within this year, let’s get into the mindset to motivate, that means we are embarking on another seasonal shift. I will advise you to start managing your overall health. And no, you do not have to be a star or wealthy to give yourself a star rated pass to your health.
Get into the mindset, you must represent yourself in all matters of the heart and all phases of the mind from infancy, through adulthood.
The body is designed to add years to your life, not for you to abuse its beautiful capabilities where you begin to deteriorate your temple from the inside out, drugs and drinking. I know we all have our habits, our quirks, but when it is detrimental to the thinking process, you are selling your ass to obtain it, you need it to calm the sickness/addiction, or it disrupts the family unit, then I will say get help, or just do not start.
The mind is terrible thing to waste, therefore, use it, or the decline of those regenerated brain cells, which brings us such useful information, will decline.
Invest in becoming a member of a local gym, if you are not for sure of the site or what it offers, advise your member recruiter you will think about becoming a member, put can he/she offer you a week pass to see if you are best suited for their facility, with that being said, investigate the equipment, the staff, the personal trainers, or if your membership includes any classes offered.
Be observant of their food or beverage court, take note if they sell any beverages on site, versus vending machine, it is also a bonus to me when both are offered. Make sure the food items even if it say, organic, certified, or is FDA approved, and after any spinning class, or cardio related class, during the recovery, make sure you try to stay away from those energy drinks, or supplements, the body has its own tolerance for pain, and heart calming effects and you help your heart, kidneys.
When you use your body against resistance, it gives you more defined definition of lean muscle mass, especially for us ladies, where we just want to look fit, mmm... sexy legs, sexy arms, and a flat jeweled abdomen. So, working out using your own sheer willpower is more preferable than fade diets the rewards will be yours in the end.
I have much respect for the citizens in society that have to depend on some form of surgical procedure due in part, their weight has become a medical concern, and if no method of medical invention is warranted, then it threatens to the health of the person.
We will be marching out of Autumn soon enough, this is that time to make sure you take care of heart, mind, body, and soul.

Well, hello everyone we have just crossed the helm of another month, and before I get to my blessing and divine salutations wow, can you all believe we are already in the moments of the twelve months may you celebrate your life each day, as if it was your birthday celebrated in the moments of awaited time.
Winter is just around the corner, and that extra hour of sleep does help the body, and it does regulate all your endocrine glands. Ladies, that will mean upon your Grand Rising, you will most likely be awakening with that puffiness around the eyes, more irritable until the body gets in sync with the natural rhythm of time’s new adjustment, and please take into consideration your cognitive awareness will be slightly off, where your melatonin a secreted hormones from the pineal gland, which is a natural sleep derivative released to your temple.
Melatonin, a natural hormone, is primarily produced by the pineal gland this hormone is primary released in the brain at night, and its beneficial in adding in our sleep throughout our sleeping to a wake cycle.

Self-preservation and self-love bring so much divine gravitational, it becomes the spoken truth of your action, it gives credence to your deeds.
For me, personally, I will always try to thrive on the wings of high vibrational energy, seeking to learn, to explore. In this day and in this lifetime, being, no seconds or the next breath is guaranteed. You need to create your own happiness, live through your own storms, and celebrate through your trials and tribulations, after all, those are your darkest hours, the uncertain times, when faith is lingering in the air, and the easy way out seems like the best course of action taking the detour through life.
That is what you consider your crossroads in life, no one walks in the wrong direction in life, its costly, mistakes add up, and time is never a beneficial factor.
Subsequently, show the aura of your persona what you are made of manifest positiveness through your endurance, after all, you are the navigator of your own testimonies, make it shine to give others, hope, feed their minds with daily encouragements, it is always warrantied for someone who may have lost the way.

A Young Woman’s First Menarche Celebration
I would like to wish everyone a great start to your week ahead and make sure you do get out and enjoy all the festivities of Autumn and once we reach that beautiful Winter Solstice.
This is the look when your Goddaughter and her friends, all four of them have bombarded your office and begin taking selfies near my walled accomplishments and chastised me for not having my picture on the wall...
Therefore, here is the picture my Goddaughter snapped no makeup at my New York office.
We had a very nice day... by the end of the day, I had a patch of green spray in my hair to commence our day, prior to seeing Wicked the movie, I made so many Tick Tocks and Facebook videos I do not want to even stare into another camera, or striking a pose, be advised I had to stop at the green lipstick.
Since we are on the subject of pampering our teenagers who have crossed the threshold of womanhood
Blooming From A Teenager To Becoming A Woman
When a teenager becomes a woman, in Western Culture, Western Civilization is mandated she becomes eighteen, however is that really when a female teenager in society becomes an official result, or do we constitute a teenager is a woman be the first signs of impending puberty.
When she gets breasts, her pubic hair begins to sprout, or when she has her first menstrual period
If any woman can think back to you first menstrual period, I know you may have some stories.
Okay, I am in Godmother mode here, the movie Wicked was such a blast to watch and just experience diversity on the big screen for a while, and I encore this movie for anyone who has little time who can comprehend what is occurring.
What Exactly Is A Menarche Is It A Menstrual Period
The word menarche refers to your first period, or your first time menstruating. Most people get their periods between 11 and 14, as we speak there are several teenagers who are much younger and within the medical community when this occurs, at times, not always, there could be a gynecological medical condition.
I remember I had to wait every bit of fourteen when I got my first Aunt Flow and then the traditions, which I will explain in my Part Two.
I would go around the globe to explore how other families celebrate their daughter's first menarche, in some countries, including my culture it is sacred rite of passage when a teenager become a woman.
Most teenage girls will have some form of symptoms prior to having their first menarche some of these reported symptoms may include light bleeding, the main culprit is cramping, oh my… I do not think most teenagers will experience mood swings, and I say that what I am going on thirty-four in 2025, remember I was roller skating in France... my mother was still here on the earth.
That day made me feel special, then I went off for some months, I was spotting until I became regulated.
My younger sister and I had a day of festivities, I remember my father shooing us all at the house.
Still to this day I hear my youngest sister asking my mother can she get her some presents when she bleeds, me and my mother just laughed.
Those words still echo after all these years, and I get misty eyed for my home in France and missing my beautiful mother.
In addition, the first menarche of any teenager is considered a beautiful milestone in commiserating
An important milestone during puberty and this is the time when a female is capable of becoming pregnant.
In Part II, I will examine some of those gynecological disorder and go around the word to see how other countries celebrate a teenager becoming a woman.

Mental Solitude In A Modern Society
Well ladies, we are seven day into the last month of December, and I would like to extend some last minutes novice from off my Nurse wish list, from becoming financial stable in an unsure economy to just to increase your credit score, and you do not have to be a financial investor or a stockbroker, these are some of my favorite way I discover way to save, and to challenge myself to reach my goal.
I have been with my Goddaughter, and I have glimpsed the future through her eyes, it appears we are all somehow connected by gigabytes and Wi-Fi.
Now with, there are so many ways to make money from off modern technology, okay, I will talk in simplistic terms, making money, bringing your dream and aspirations into fruition.
Any advice, statement, should always be further research in your favor.
Hum, now that I have garnered your humble attention, let’s find a way to make that silver dollar increase in value, or increase those coins.
I have taught my Goddaughter what I call the intermediate necessities when it comes to managing money, and not relying on the outpouring reliance of others, and ladies, try this with your daughter or son, for w week, I can assume children will be going on holiday break and once they return in 2025 see how much they have saved and then encourage that beautiful path of your child learning how to save money, and it is best to always teach a child to begin saving earlier, so when your daughter, or your son is asking for those funds to go and pay those million dollars sneakers, you can advise them to spend their ow, you will be surprised how that idea just miraculously goes away….
Okay, enough talking let's get to saving and making money
This rule of dedication has been a spiritual award to me, and I would like to share it with you.
If you have a jug, then grab that jug, decorate with something that is mentally soothing to return your eyes to, and make sure, you place a slit in the top where a dollar could pass through with was, that is the jar you label with whatever floats your boat, my jar has Elvis on it, if you know this jar, which is, well was sold during the Christmas time and it was stuffed with popcorn, oh, excuse me I ventured didn’t I, as I was nearing to say, label your jar/jug with words that mean something to you, I say that, due in part, you will be friends with this home makeshift bank, this is the beginning of yourself-challenge, then you will need another jar, once again you will decorate this jug/jar with pizazz.
The second jar is considering your interest jar/jug.
This is where the challenge comes into play. See if you can encourage your daughter/son to place a dollar in the first jug/jar and for every dollar there has to be interest, therefore, please encourage your daughter or son to place fifty cents in the second jug/jar, allow this transaction to begin on 1/01/2025 for 365 say (year) and at the end of the year, see how much your little money Financial Wizkid has saved, the next year increase to two dollars and a dollar for interest, so forth.

The Commencement Of The Tying Of The Obi Ceremony

This is like the second time you all are catching me without make-up on, and I freshen my lips gloss
I do hope all who are reading this may it find you and your family safe, and festive around this holiday.
This is part two of enriching your teenagers, especially before peer pressure get the best of them, and for any female rather they are of menstruating age, please make sure you always sit down and discuss any life changing moments prior to them occurring, and please make sure you stay updated on your children’s Well Child visit,/Annual Wellness Exams, once your teenager hit the peak of puberty the body at times excels in growth what we refer to as a growth spurt, a female will begin to notice physically changes to the her body; the development of breasts, and pubic hairs and your teenage male will begin to notice subtle changes; his interest in girls will become evident, facial hair due to hormonal changes.
I will not elaborate at this point, due in part it will be discussed in depth on a later posting.
This brings me to the nature of my posting; find a hobby of interest you and your teenage daughter can share together. I say that with a grain of salt and with patience, understand, and laughter.
I have been jet setting all over the globe with my Goddaughter this month because her parents travel a lot, and my pockets and home is the second refugee.
However, we were just in Washington, D.C she was advancing from her green belt and since I am a certified green belt, something I do not like to divulge, because it details me mentioning my Goddaughter, and I ty to shied her privacy at all cost, however, please allow me to tell this story behind this, as I stated, I am a green belt and I remember every bit as if this was yesterday, I was still in college and for my Goddaughter’s birthday I bought her lessons for the advancement to become a certified black belt in karate... she is nowhere near it, but she is good within her Obi status, and I also signed her and myself up for fencing beginner’s lessons, she had exceeded in chess, and fencing when she feels like Fencing.
Are you with me, still to this day, I hate to admit it, but I was twenty-nine years old, and when you are advancing for another elevation in your Obi, you must be proficient in kata and kumite movements, I am very good at the green belt level.
It was in December with the Official Tying of the Obi followed by the trophy ceremony, which takes place at the ending of the year to place members in the appropriate belt title for the beginning of the following year.
During the year I was due to advance, I had to spar with this woman, she was thin as a mint, witty and we always laugh ...ooo that fucking bitch, yes, she put me on my ass, hurt the fuck out my back, I broke a nail, ya’ll I just laid there, embarrassed, this little woman flipped my ass and pinned me to the mat and went on to get her blue belt.
I laugh now, but back then, and if you can imagine, not do not image that embarrassment and that comes from underestimating people’s interactions, that shit still pissed me off, she knocked the wind out of me... She is now a certified black belt and teaches at the Karate School...wow, it just goes to say, time does not wait for anyone, subsequently, make it count for all that you do, I am looking at my friend from across the room getting her class ready for their proficient demonstrations.
I have never practiced beyond my green belt, I somehow ended up going to the class for my CCL license to carry; however, I still have to put on my Gi and tie my Obi around my waist to get on the mat and when I participate to show my Goddaughter I am still supporting her through her teenager years in addition, the pre-stretching does help me to softly calm my Charkas, and our lessons are already paid up through 2027.
I felt a spiritual calmness and please when I was the presented my Goddaughter her next blue belt, I am such a very proud Godmother
Thank goodness her parents will take her to her fencing compliments, for me… whew and softly sighing…now I can get back to my business here.
Everyone please enjoy your teenage, no matter what stage your female teenager have blossomed into or for parent who are reading a male teenager, they are excessing into, just make sure before they leave out for school, or if they reside at home and attend college, just say, I love you, ask them are simply okay, seconds are not promised, and now that they are hindering the communication for student by restricting their cell phone usage during daily lessons, yet, just make sure you always pray for child/children’s/s safety to and from school.
If you are an African American parent, please listen , be advised this is a call of action, there is an increase of missing children, and please believe me, the news is not advising the public of this, therefore, please think before you send your child to the store unattended, and make sure your child has an mergence phone number in their bookbag, stitched in the back of their coat, you will be surprised of how many kids do not know their phone number or address if they were to ever get lost, or get off at the wrong bus top, parents be pro-active with your children and teenagers, because some derange person(s) are is stealing our babies. and I say that as a Call To Action, the hue of our skin it is not being marginalized, so please as a favor to me and for any parent know where your child/children are al all moments of the day once they are out of school.

Rainbows
There was an elder woman who sat upon the highest majestic mountains
High above the valleys below and the beautiful rolling hills
Her ordained job was to oversee the habitants who roamed its sacred grounds
Each and every day these citizens would speak goodness to be settled upon the mountains.
One day a storm brewed on the horizon turning the beautiful, lush valley below dark
The overseer made revisions to make sure its residents was secured, dry, and gave everyone self-assurance.
And this too shall past
The overseer noticed a fragile and loathsome silhouette approaching, as she banged on the door, begging for shelter. A place to rest her soul in discord and turmoil of the raging seas roaring and the wind howling in the background.
The overseer opened the door portal small window to peek out and to keep the elements at bay, she glimpsed the appearance of the woman. She took in, as she assumed, the peasant’s appearance and slammed the door portal close refusing the woman's entrance.
The beautiful sun finally returned, flowers blooming, jasmine laden scent sailing throughout the air.
For the love of the overseer’s favorite morning enjoyment, she accidently burned her tongue, blisters instantly formed.
Yet, for the overseer’s faithfulness she noticed she needed supplies, water, and wood for the roaring fires to keep her inhabitants warm.
Therefore, she donned her black bonnet and long black coat, she left the securing entrance of her mountain gates to her most trusted and loyal associate and off she went.
A storm was fast approaching, as she made her way through the valley, up the hills, and over the mountains.
Heavy pelts of rain begin to pierce her skin, she tripped and fell over a stone, her attire became muddy.
Within her accident she had lost her shoes.
The overseer continued to make the long trekked up the mountains. She saw the receiving light beaming from the mountain peaks she called home.
She tried to let out a small sigh of relief it was impossible due to her tongue blistering, permitting her not to speak.
The overseer’s attire now hung like lead against her skin, her feet were now calloused and swollen.
As she approached the entrance gates to her mountains, she heard the wind howling in the distance, witnessing it sweeping everything within its incoming path.
The overseer banged on the door.
Her most trusted and loyal associate opened the small door portal. His inquisitive eyes took in the stranger’s appearance as he glanced up and down; he noticed the caked mud to her skin, barefoot, and squeaking as the stranger spoke.
The overseer’s most trusted and loyal associate instantly slammed the door portal in the assumingly stranger’s face.
As the story goes, everything was swept away by the howling wind in its dangerous path.
The moral of the story, always give mental sanctuary for those who appear less than capable to give it to themselves and judge not, let ye be not judged.
