fear of missing out from the world

neither will those days
neither will the night
neither will it be sunny
neither will it rain
the leaves will not fall from the branches
the thirst of the soul will not be quenched
all my dreams will be lost
my existence will disappear
nor will there be peace
tears will not flow from the eyes
all the questions will remain as it is
will not get any answer
you will stay
everyone will stay.
you will listen
everyone will listen
get offended and persuading
everything will stop
and I will pass by

Are three entries compulsory? Can't we post one or two?

@dimpy You don't need 3 entries. That's just the limit. So you can't have more than 3 entries, but you can have less.

SLEEPEATER

I awaken with a rumble
Stirred by a grumble
Blinking eyes in the thunder
No escape
From the pulling under
Blinded
By the hunger
Feasting
On the numbers
The time it takes
My sleep
Like a hunter

Where does my sleep go
When it rushes from my side
Why does it hide away
In fight or flight
When I get lost in the fray
And can no longer see the way

I fall from my sleep like a boulder
Jostled loose by the shoulder
Gasping breaths, smoky smolder
No way but down
Gravity, the only place holder
Blinded
By the dust of what he told her
Hungrily taking
Then digging in the spur
Counting the time
I am awake
Sleepless chauffer

Where does my sleep go
When it rushes from my side
Why does it hide away
In fight or flight
When I get lost in the fray
And can no longer see the way

Why does my sleep go
Where it cannot be found
Blurring the lines between
Fast and slow
Breathe and choke
Ash and snow
Why does my sleep go
To the one who hates it so
Who takes and crumples
Eats and bundles
Everything I am
For a meal
From which I may not heal

Before I Take My Leave

Before I take my leave
I believe I owe many of you here a proper farewell
Though is customary to bereave after one’s departure
I conceive that the burden of memory falls on your shoulders
After I take my leave

But before I take my leave
We must all agree we’ve had some great times together
The compositions I conceived on this side of the universe
Surely must’ve achieved a footnote in some of your memories
After I take my leave

Yet before I take my leave
Understand I’m somewhat relieved to know my time is near
I appreciate our relationships even more with every passing second
It may sound naïve to say such things before crossing over that bridge
After I take my leave

And before I take my leave
I perceive that the grieving process is different for everyone
But if you retrieve those recollections of music, of love, of laughter
Also think of me driving, striving, trying to be filled with joie de vivre
After I take my leave

On the eve before I take my leave
Know I wore my heart on my sleeve being true and honest to the core
I do hope I weaved a feel good story to tell after I’ve said my farewells
So please receive my love and respect if you remember me for a brief moment
After I take my leave

Mi Dead To Bloodcleet

My dear family, my time is near,
So I'll write this poem with love and cheer.
Don't cry for me, but remember with smiles,
The moments we shared, the laughs and trials.

My body may rest beneath the ground,
But my spirit will forever be around.
So live your lives with happiness and light,
And know that I'm with you day and night.

Farewell for now, but not forever,
We'll reunite in joy and pleasure.
Until then, let memories be your guide,
And let love and laughter be your constant tide.

Absent

Numerically correct,
new miracles are set to seem improbable.
Vicariously intact,
the same old mysteries at hand remain unsolvable.

I’m incomparable,
like a tether to a WiFi wearable in pairing mode.
Highly programmable,
written to a T-prompt yet riddled with debunked error codes.

Stopped to a halt, similar like deep sea salt
my aging seems to be a hoax.

Never did you hear me plan to live forever.
The fact of the matter is my chatter seems to reach out
to whoever hears it first.
Not the latter.

Contemplate my words for the better.
Ink it down and stamp it to a letter so I can sleep on it
and inevitably shred her.

Sue, I’ll side with you to prevent self harmony to
present a bar or three while stood on stools made of suave mahogany.
Would you close blinds to misogyny even if it meant
to float with angels high above of me?

My grave will witness silence as there are no remains to delve.

I’d hate to love you as much as I loved to hate myself.

Elegy of Love: A Final Farewell

My dearest love, the end is nigh,
And time is fleeting, as I say goodbye.
These words I write with a heavy heart,
As I reflect on our love, from the start.

The brevity of life, a sobering thought,
And the realization of what I have wrought.
Regrets and sorrows, I have a few,
But loving you, I never withdrew.

As I bid farewell, let me leave you this,
An ode to our love, and all its bliss.
Your smile, your touch, your gentle voice,
Are memories I'll cherish, and always rejoice.

The pain of parting, is hard to bear,
But know that my love for you, will always be there.
As I journey to the great beyond,
Know that my love, will forever bond.

Though I may not be with you, physically,
My spirit will watch over you, eternally.
And when you look to the sky above,
Know that I'll be there, shining like a dove.

So let not your heart be filled with grief,
For our love, was a gift beyond belief.
And though I leave this earthly plane,
Our love will endure, and forever remain.

My dearest love, I bid you adieu,
But know that my love for you, will always be true.
Till we meet again, in the great unknown,
I leave you with my heart, and this poem.
