Wild Seed

Wild seed blown to the breeze;
where will he fall, who will call.
If given a chance, with him I would dance
twisting and shaking in a lofty romance.

In hours as minutes, seconds burned to dust
every notion a fragment adrift in wanderlust.
How he flies within the reeds
seeking nothing that he won't need.

Only a tiny resting spot
unstable and on a wavering lot;
going unnoticed even in wind
hiding among each branch that bends.

He will emerge in some strange time
to come alive in sight and mind
germinating in a fiery brand
with reaching roots to siphon the land.

Hungry for malignant ground
within a murky pool to drown,
he'll arise and spawn my dreams;
all my hardest scars will bleed.
My heart lies fertile;
wild seed.

Love

Red Heated Passion
All colors of red
Endorphines
running wild with in your cerebrum
The feeling of your skin
being set ablaze
A white hot Passion
that beckons for their touch
The feeling of complete safety
and crushing anxiety of the unknown
It becomes an obsession
that you dont want to fight
a losing battle being fought up hill
No matter how hard you try
you know it many
never be enough
but still you put your whole heart into it
and give it everything you have
hoping it will be enough
and knowing that it is.

Your arms

Rushing Running Sprinting
Head first into the darkness
I rush blindly ahead
the branches of trees tear at my clothes
threatening to slow me down
as lacerations start to cover my skin
I cant help but smile
running for the ever growing light in front of me
running back to the place I call home
down a dark and treacherous path
at the end of all bad things
there is a home waiting for me
where my heart yearns to be
I will be rushing into your arms
The place i call home is you
no matter where we are
you will all ways be my home
for with out you i am back
On that dark and dangerous path
rushing back to safety
back in to your arms

there's truth in I's

I glow
basking in your colors
of grandeur

I sail
through the seas
of your sweetest whispers

I beckon
to fate or destiny—
they answered in favor
when you finally
looked
and saw
me

I revel
in the beauty
of each
exquisitely woven
written word

I stand
ready to collect
shared promises so bold

I touch
the starry sky
as hushed pleas of your name
slip from lips
soaked in dreams
and sanguine believes

I see
all of our intricacies
and know it's our possibilities
that will undoubtedly outshine

I climb
into your mind
with purest lovers heart's intentions
and the truest fervid passion

I smell
nothing sweeter
than you
your scent floating mid air
as I press myself
with utmost care
so tightly against your chest
'Tis sense memory in all it's wicked best

I resign
fear, trepidation
or
Anything
that holds me back
from my
chosen path
that leads
directly
to

You.

I ache
for you

Only you.

Congratulations to all winners and all entrants. All have submitted such marvellous poems, deserving of trophies. However, the top three are:
1.   there's truth in I's -Bluevelvete
2.   VirgiliusMaro-Tio, kio estas.. (That, which is..)
3.   Ahavati -Love Survives
For info, I read the poems with non-DU members. We had a tough time, but it was absolutely enjoyable. Thank you so much for being with me in this competition. I am honoured to have received such overwhelming response, with awesome entries. Please be with me again in my next competition. Thank you so much.
