There has been intervention in the cases Josh spoke of stricter highway laws
Second hand smoke laws alcohol and drug rehabilitation, advocates for suicide free cancer screenings reminders for flu vaccines.  These numbers continue to climb.  The hospitals may be over run now COVID-19 that still remains to be seen if they are it's only because of a selfish need of humanity to think about number one
These other statistics don't directly relate to them they are ignored
I didn't care much about suicide until i was on the other end of the phone for three days talking down a young man from taking his life I am more aware now of suicide
I have to agree with Josh
And of course Black Wolf
nothing to fear but fear itself

to fear anything, especially an unseen virus that has real tangible results on human life?"

Just to be clear , if someone chooses to fear , that is *their* choice...

Never said , ( again , just to be clear ) there is no reason not to fear , for some...

Yet , as far as myself ?

Yes , "No Fear" of ***anything*** is the truth...just gets me pissed off...LOL !

No worries captain Bullet proof you can cartwheel naked through the streets asserting all you like. No fear of anything is as irrational as stating you’re scared of everything

Fear in and of itself is only a problem if you allow it to control your every action, fear that causes a cautious response to novel situations tends to produce people that survive and so it’s a natural feature of the human condition.

The ancients deem it to be so and thus it is so...

Incorrect...fear is irrational

Awareness over rides fear , and consciousness ,
guided by awareness , is the correct , and proper
response , that takes the situation under control ,
as is the point...

There are those who live and function ( somewhat , in
the opinion of the path I walk ) on a minimal awareness
and consciousness level most would term "normal" human...

To me , and others I am well aware of , that is like a computer
or machine at base functioning level...not truly operating at
the level it was designed for...

There were ancients , and Ancients...and , as you put it , "normal"
or "natural" level of human condition , and advanced response
"programming" which is what some of us run...

Get used to it , said *very* respectfully...

The man's video , you recommended me to watch ?

To me , he is much closer , though not yet there , to the level
I , and others of my intelligence and perceptive level of what
most term reality , run as our daily thought program...

No bragging...just what we would term what most call "fact"...

That couldn't be more wrong. This is much more about protecting the whole, rather than individual parts. If I knew that you were the only one affected by your actions concerning COVID-19, I wouldn't be harping on this. People are free to destroy or not destroy themselves any way they like. But people who are not practicing distancing and who are not staying at home are increasing the spread, known and unknown (since so many carry asymptomatically), and all of that could come back around and kill many other people. It is selfless to take part in this big societal sacrifice, not selfish.

Dear Valeriya. These people are in hospital because they need to be, not for any selfish reason. If they were in hospital for only selfish reasons, they would soon be thrown out I'm sure or put into one of America's finest empty Hotels if they were homeless (yeah right, right?). Only New York (& many other counties) would force the homeless to sleep in an unsheltered car park! Everyone's guilty of fucking the homeless, including me, when I haven't given any spare change!

There are a lot of people worried about becoming homeless right now. Also, how would you know that "most put themselves in that position"? Were you aware of how the homeless population swelled after Reagan decided to vastly cut mental health spending? Personally, I put that on Reagan.

Do you live in a large city area , my friend ?

Because it is not the same where many as well live...

Many of us do not live in cities , nor have any desire to...

So we have different realities , and to continue to judge
others , without knowing their reality , is an assumption ,
and does not show truly clear thought...

I can walk down a mile plus of road , not come close to
any houses or structures , let alone people or other animals
( note how I said that ...;) ) , and not come close to anyone...

It is miles to the nearest town center , or shopping...

Where I used to live ?

Far , far more remote...so we all live differently...

Take that into future thought patterns and comments , please...

Thanks !

I know what you are getting at here, 5th Riddler, regarding alcohol abuse. For anyone around an alcoholic, it is immensely frustrating because we can't understand why they can't pull themselves together & be as strong & as responsible as we are.

I appreciate the many realities. When I was in Cuba in 2000, I was amazed out how different a country on the same planet, not even that many miles away, could be from ours. Some version of that exists whenever I travel anywhere. Point taken.
