I love Gothic literature and dark poetry. I suffered a lot in my years, and my ability to write has helped me through some very hard times. "Normal is an illusion, what is normal to the spider is chaos to the fly." Boop!*

My real name is Amanda Shelton, I am very passionate about my poetry. Life is not easy but writing takes me away to peaceful times and beautiful lands, making life seem not so bad. I lost my mom December 7th 2014 to cancer and she always told me, "Many don't stop writing because someday your hard work will payoff". I believe her. Plus I already fought very hard to get where I am today. I am disabled but I will never let that define who I am, for there's more to me than a disability. I am living proof that we humans are strong creatures. If I can live through brain surgery, three near death experiences, and abuse imagine what you can do.
Live not in the past, but for the adventure that follow you into the future.
The Spider and the Fly
“Will you walk into my parlor?” said the Spider to the Fly,
'Ti's the prettiest little parlor that ever you did spy;
The way into my parlor is up a winding stair,
and I've a many curious things to shew when you are there.”
“Oh no, no,” said the little Fly, “to ask me is in vain,
For who goes up your winding stair
-can ne'er come down again.”
