Waiting for You
Dearest Beloved,
I am waiting for you -
Within your garden of summer delight
Here at the midnight hour
On this beautiful full moon night.
Waiting for you to bring the wine
Sit with me and sup.
Waiting for you to part the veil
Fill my empty cup.
If need be -
I'll wait several lifetimes
For your grace
To experience your Darshan
Face to face.
I am waiting for you -

the greatest thing I love about this site is it helps me to expand my vocabluary and knowledge. I've studied a little of Hinduism, and the term "Darshan" is now added to that (I just looked up what it means). thank you. This is a lovely poem. I can feel the patient longing for the one you are waiting for.
