The Lonelyness Of The Social Networking Widower

"The Loneliness Of The Social Networking Widower" By Marcus Cooke

Get of that computer
Go make me a cup of tea
turn that bloody thing off
I’m on my knees begging please.

No chance of a warm embrace
No get out clause just in case
This repartition kills me

No chance of an erection
She’s more interested in her avitor
And a strong internet connection

I’m in competition
with a piece of plastic
with a screen
Most days I just give up
and prepare to scream

Hi remember me?
Instead of looking at that thing
Maybe you can talk to me?
Yes, i sit on my ass assorbing callaries
but at least i never loose my signal
or run out of battaries.

It’s too late
I’m married to this face booking fiddler
And so it must remain
