A Widows Thought
Poem Image

Stop your memories from haunting my mind
             let me go

Stop appearing in my dreams nightly
             let me go

Stop your sent from following me around
             let me go

Stop your picture from staring at me accusingly
             let me go

Stop your name from falling out of empty mouths
             let me go

Stop your ghost from demonizing an already dead heart
             let me go

              please

             let me go

               just

             let me go
