I remember you.

Memoirs of my sexual deviance.....
I remember the first time
you took me to your room,
when we made the bed ours.
I remember wondering slightly
why your parents never seemed
to be aware of the going-ons.
I remember the deserted barn.
The quiet floorboards echoing
the music of summer love.
I remember the first time you touched me.
The feel of your hands as they slid smoothly between my legs.
And the fear it instilled when i realized
what you'd done.
I remember the first time you really kissed me.
Hiding from the kids in
the parking lot.
Sitting on your lap in the jeep.
i remember the fireworks that
were nothing compared to you.
I remember the flame.
I remember all these things...
but it seems...
you've forgotten me.
