night out

fear melting in
my mouth

mixed with gin
and tonic

I get inside the
rhythm

music of despair

invisible
vibrations

affecting

making things
ten times bigger

through the eyes
of panic

smell of burning

I swallowed it
down the throat

it went to the
stomach

making my
insides dance and tremble

I’m drowning in
the stupidity

facing dead end

pressing full
stop

applying brakes
– gently

air becomes
static

sparkles with
spangles

one more please

to shut up dirty mouth

of my sorrow

I can’t stand
its stinking breath

griming smile

fear gets back
to my throat

forgot where the
exit was

and got inside
my head

instead

...attacks and psychiatrists would probably have a field day with it. But the clipped delivery suits it perfectly to convey the urgency of the moment. The opening lines are a class act. Please continue to write more, Natalya - I feel the best is yet to come.
