Cuffed

These cuffs that bind my self torn wrists
They also bind my heart
For he who holds my mind; at length
Begins to play his part

Although he may not know his role
He runs with it none the less
So to you, I now tell my fears
My feelings I confess

This man I love, he knows me well
But I show him not my scars
Deep down, I think he knows the truth
But for now the secret's ours

This man I love, he is my rock
Though he is unaware
Just how I rely on him
Just how much I care

So to you know I bare my arms
My mind, my heart, my soul
And hope that you'll forgive my sins
And one day make me whole
