Shapeshifter

Every day when I walk around
these homosapien polluted streets
all that surrounds me are images of
deceit people may tell you what they
want you to hear but behind closed doors
they hide in a bubble of cowardice and fear
to the public eye a snobbish, arrogant, filthy
rich bastard is what you appear when in reality
it hurts you in ways so severe through telekinesis
the burn of anger from these people's faces are
throwing spears aiming to kill with a desire to see
your blood spill there's no need to change you are
perfect the way you are and until you accept that
you will forever have to carry the scars of guilt,
betrayal and fraud those things don't deserve
a round of applause because you fooled these
people into believing this self proclaimed image
basking in the limelight taking credit for a talent
that you didn't scrimmage or experiment with
rumors about you have been circulating the
person you're posing as is just a myth and it's
degrading now you're sitting underneath mountains
of solitude and intense pressure debating displaying
foul hand gestures 'cause the feelings invading and
breaking through the walls of your confidence compelling
you to place a pistol up to your temple pulling the trigger
getting rid of the counterfeit symbol quicker than Jack be nimble
