Loe Tree.

Burning tree still kept its amber flame in the winter.
And now from the core of the scorching earth
These ancestors push through ground and grasp for
A blue ocean, leaving me a path
Right down the centre to fly through.
With the wind at our red-blooded backs
Tugging our shaken leaves,
We walk for the coming spring.

I know I've made this comparison before, but your work really does remind me of Sylvia Plath's. Maybe it's the short, definitive poetic statements, like abstract prophecies, which keeps recalling the best of her poems to my mind whenever I read you. Either way, your dense and majestic evocations of thoughts and moments never fail to impress. Fantastic.
