The Final Stroke

Left on the wake
In the rolling waves I find you
So helpless and distressed
At the world you lost yourself to
In passing you might be
Another killer of my dreams
But the risk is so subjective
I find it, when the time is right
When I can fly the speed
Promising the world and taking the soul
Ride my mystery, little foal
I’ll teach you how to lose the fight
Behold, you’ve gained that distant sight
Oh I’ll show you the cost of being mine
Forever and a day too far
Cruelty is such a craft,
Lover and friend
Twice in my head
Forever in my heart
Dead in my arms
I practice my art.
