…and that final page that we wrote on…
…has no ink…
…and no words that would be equal…
…to the actuality of having had been there…
…i cast it down…
…and it burns quickly…
…and without flames…

Such a beautiful little love song, devoid of the schmaltz which usually punctuates this genre, and resonant with the pain and hurt and emotional suffering it evokes. I know this is a cliché, but this poem is like a window on the soul. I adore it, and the fact that you can write a poem like "Bestiality" and then compose something like this shows your incredible versatility as an artist.

thanks jack.. yeah I can be versatile.. same with music and art.. I can draw a soft portrait or play jazz.. but I can also draw a puppet smashing another puppets head in and play metal.. it all depends on mood and place in the universe at the time.. I am where I am..

visuality

i like the visuality of the feeling. I couldnt have thought of a better way of expressing the last page of a book. wether the book is.,,symbolic? (cant think of the right word), or a phsyical book itself. No matter how hard the writer tries, its only a breath of being there yourself, which the reader only trully painfully realizes at the very last page. The same goes for your memories.

Wow Nathan this is the first poem of yours I've read that didnt go into a sexual violent ending or have any dark mesage this is going on my reading list bro.

just like I do with music and visual art I do with writing.. I am versatile.. mostly I've just chosen to expose my dark words here because it seemed the right community.. also that is my focus as of recently.. this is actually an old piece but I did want to show people that I am capable of being sensitive and I do have a heart.. thanks for the read and fav..

Also I love how deep it is most of your other stuff is right to the poing (not that thats a problem mind you) this one is slow, deep, makes you think I really like this poem dude I really dont know what to say its a great poem I mean it!
