Ode To The Stars

A lament to the night
and the constellations
of a stud bright
and its nebular relations
all the dead light
that died to reach us
a natural compass
that tried to teach us
about our universe
and its might .
Global rocks
that spin axled whirls
a solar that clocks
a pulling of polar
that burns
and the astroid belt
that turns
between our worlds
and comets that smelt
their energy tailed to twirls .
Faithfull forever satellites
stuck around by a mass
sparkling their fairy lights
through a stained glass
a lament to the night
what is our task
the answer is out there alright
but how do we ask .
