Luminous

Can't take away what I've seen with my eyes
the reason i started
it had nothing to do with eyeballs

I've joined the world, but let's not forget
where I've been, how I got here...
losing myself over and over
rolling round in a makeshift grave--

I am luminous
I am my own portal into the numinous
painstaking, quivering, jumping and falling--

God caught the leaves before they hit the ground
And covered my soul with foliage
That's how I was found
