Don't cut off parts of someone's body without consent (circumcision)  

 
Pro-circumcision: It's easier to clean!


Pro-intact: Do you honestly believe penises are so complex that a human being will sit there staring in confusion when it comes time to clean themselves?

Pro-circumcision: My religion says its practitioners need to cut off this part of their body!


Pro-intact: That's your right to believe, and when THIS human being is old enough to make an informed decision about their own beliefs and body, it will be their right to choose to cut off part of their body.

Pro-circumcision: It happened to ME/this human being's father! How do you expect us to explain why their penises look different!? They should match!


Pro-intact: The father's a grown man, this human being is not. They will not look the same. The human being will grow up with their father having a different face than they do, a different body, etc. Even if you cut off a part of this human being's body, their penis will not look like their father's, because the father is a grown man. 

If this human being sees their father's penis and asks why theirs looks different, the answer is simple 'when father was a baby, people thought it was important that they cut off part of penises when humans were born. They weren't bad people, they just didn't know better. We know better now, and decided not to cut part of your penis off'.

Pro-circumcision: They're too young to feel pain!


Pro-intact: Watch this video of this body part being cut off, and listen to how the human being screams. The human being may vomit from pain and fear, and they may go into shock. These are all routine things that happen when this body part is cut off.


Pro-circumcision: But they won't remember it anyway!


Pro-intact: Very true, they will not remember having a part of their body cut off without their consent, but they will still have that body part missing for the rest of their life.

Additionally, a drunk person may not remember having someone violate their body and do something to them without their consent either, but it is still wrong.

If the human being being too young to remember is enough reason to cut off part of their body when they're unable to consent, does this imply that molesting human beings under 3 years of age is morally right, because they will not remember having things happen to them to which they did not and could not have consented?


Pro-circumcision: Of course not!!! That's sick!! Just because they won't remember doesn't mean it's ok to violate them!


Pro-intact: I'm glad we agree.
