My hopes for you are simple and true...

I Hope:

and sweet.

•That you remain doe-eyed when looking at the world,
and all of its wonders.

•That you make a plethora of mistakes that keep you humble and strong...
Only to find your footing on solid ground, whilst remembering you're not alone.

I Hope:

• For sunny days with calm waters...
I also hope for storms so that you might perfect your sailing.

•That when you plant your feet,
you wander before you leap...
I hope you take a leap at least one a day.

•That you always feel warmth when it's cold.

•That you remember the wisdom of childhood most forget as they grow old.

•That you forever believe in magic...
For amongst the mundane,
you will find it.

and breaks
for the things that feed your soul.

I hope for you a life that is lived beyond the sidewalks, and outside the lines.
