Earthlings

You should try spending several days
Watching people in the street
You'll see they all walk like zombies
They look like their hearts never beat
Don't you find it really saddening
No one ever looks like a human being
Everyone's always so scared of showing
Their emotions or their way of thinking
Try talking to a stranger
Just ask them if they ever
Stop and look up in the sky
And wonder if they could fly
If they could try to reach for the stars
Tell them it may be enough to heal their scars
They'll prolly ask you "What are you, insane ?"
But they're as lost as a blind man would be without his cane
Tryna make a life out of nothing
Feeling like they need money to be worth anything
When will they realize that dreaming
Has always been the best way of living ?

No boundaries, no chains
Complete freedom inside your head
At the mind station, infinite trains
Going everywhere from the beginning to the end. (x2)

We're all earthlings
So why the fuck can't we stop waging
This endless war on eachother
Why do they insist on bringing peace through terror ?
Everyone against the world,
The world against everyone
This is not a place to live
That is why I gotta leave
This place of madness
Of anger and bitterness
How can they make their lives such a bore ?
No one ever even plays chess anymore !
They've all lost their ability to think
"But we never thought that the Titanic could sink !"
Of course not, you're an idiot
Incapable of seeing the iceberg yet
And for those who don't get the metaphore
The iceberg is your inability to think just a bit more
You fucking John Doe
Different people in the same clothes
Making the same face on every photo
No wonder you're lost with a mind so closed !

When you just have to dream...

No boundaries, no chains
Complete freedom inside your head
At the mind station, infinite trains
Going everywhere from the beginning to the end.
