away from here.
My heart calls out to yours,
but where there once was an answer

A shadow of who you once were.

i like this jmn.
it is powerful in its execution and reeks of emotion. also i like poems that begin with and.
i am wondering if the last line on the fourth really fits the stanza, it seems on its own or something. maybe 'a shadow where you once were' might fit better.

I saw in your profile that you are from Ireland. I have always loved Ireland and plan on going next year FINALLY, so any useful tips you could give would be great. :)

tips: don't fly ryan air.
try to go off the beaten track when you can.
city's you should visit; Dublin,Galway,Derry, oh and Offaly is big now since Obama discovered he had roots there and paid it a visit.
really it depends what you want out of a visit here. Ireland caters for all needs.
p.s don't forget to bring plenty of Euro's because the country is kind of bankrupt.
oh and that red hair will give you instant ancestry to red hugh o neil ( you can say you are a relative)

Thank you for the lovely tips Eamon. :) I definitely intend upon getting off the beaten track. My husband (Darkbee) has some relatives there that we plan on staying with for a short time so I'm hoping that they help immerse us in the culture.

AS for meeting up, we shall be all over Ireland since I have never been, so I don't see why it meeting up wouldn't be doable. I look forward to experience the lovely Emerald Isle up close and personal and although circumstance has often gotten in the way of my doing so, I am determined to do so next year.
