I don't know...
Maybe it is just me,
Awake dreaming fantasies,
Of you and me,
Because I can't sleep.
Where is the love I so desperately need?
My heart has repeatedly taken a beating,
Maybe the balance of a team will let me find peace with my being,
So it seems I need more love,
Not nice things,
Cause happiness comes from within,
Not from how much you spend
What are material possessions?
When I bring you into question,
I'm on a quest and this cannot be random-
We both needed a companion,
The bike of life is a tandem
Two paths form one and cannot be abandoned,
From our vantage we can manage to keep a bandage on the damages,
I got stamina so for now I soul search for you in Goldilocks zones,
You know...
The type of space you would grace as your own,
At first words softly spoken,
In spurts emotions begin floating,
A page turns and soon we start quoting',
Two voices and the breath to grow,
Binary stars in our own show,
But we both know-
The brightest souls are the quickest to fall apart,
We cannot quit now look we are living in art,
From the start it will always get harder,
But why else would anyone bother-
To conquer life with a partner?
Two hearts finding love is quick to draw applause,
But you pause as I look on,
I see the past continues to haunt,
But the dawn is upon us,
When love spawns from the darkness,
It is the strongest,
So I promise,
I’ll stick thru the drama,
Cause if I am honest,
You may be the last goddess,
Bad ass like Pocahontas,
I am astonished
Hooked on your phonics,
