The Last Client

Another high voltage lidded hole
Arrows stenciled down the street
Meth heads firing up a bowl
Just enough to make their night complete

Snipe is out to turn a trick
A top earner for Land Shark
Her latest charges didn't stick
So she retains her corner by the park

A twisted day and stranger night
Out to earn another buck
A man in black steps from the light
And comforts Snipe that she's in luck

He knows she's burned out on this street of tears
And swears she'll nothing lack
A few bills passed to calm her fears
Then a tip from Spring-heeled Jack.
