The Sun Is Not For Everyone
I don't care about the stars or the moon
I wait for the sun
To show itself to me in the morning
The symbol of a new day
A new hope
That all can go as you had wanted on this day, finally
The perfect time to go and get your morning coffee
To help wake you up to the rays of warmth
And invigorate your body for the days work
On my way to get my coffee I ran over a squirrel
On my way home I ran over a chipmunk
Maybe I should stay home today
I wait for the sun
To show itself to me in the morning
The symbol of a new day
A new hope
That all can go as you had wanted on this day, finally
The perfect time to go and get your morning coffee
To help wake you up to the rays of warmth
And invigorate your body for the days work
On my way to get my coffee I ran over a squirrel
On my way home I ran over a chipmunk
Maybe I should stay home today
