A Magic clock

I wish I had a magic clock with the function to rewind ,
It would be amazing how much time I'd find ,

To spend with you just hanging round
Not just now that your bed bound ,
I always though you would be fine
You have your life I have mine ,

It's not because I didn't care
I just assumed you would always be there

It's always amazed me how you'd just listen
When my eyes began to glisten ,
I should have been more their for you
I didn't know what you are going through

Im sorry I neglected you
That's something you would never do
An amazing friend right from the start
I was just a silly tart
Wrapped up in stuff that doesn't matter
Making you listen to all my patter

You would just sit there with a smile
Knowing I'd grow up , it's taken a while

I know now that when you recover
I won't be busy with something other ,
I won't need a rewinding clock
My time won't be closed or have a lock

The best verse of this piece is the last
Because it shows I will change the past ,
I now realise how important you are
When you call I won't be far ,
Im sorry it has taken this long
To realise where I'm going wrong

Now I just ask for two more favours
One , Please forgive my bad behaviour ,
And two get well and become strong
So I can right all my wrongs x
