Hug
She said goodbye
A little fear choked up
In her voice
I didn't want her to leave
And she wasn't ready to go
She gave me a hug
Tight and warm
Almost like she didn't want
To let go of me
I couldn't help
But think of what could be
A great friendship in the making
Maybe even something more
And it all started with open hearts
In a place where people talk
Just because they're bored
