"The Two Precepts of the Cross."
"Master, which is the great commandment in the law?"
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy
God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with
all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy
neighbor as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law and
the prophets
(Matthew 22:37-40)
In the Strong's Concordance we see that the word,
"Hang," in verse 40 is explained as meaning thus:
(to hang up, suspend
to be suspended, to hang
"USED AS ONE HANGING ON A CROSS"
There was, "One," who hung on a cross
used of the Law and the Prophets, they is
summed up or hanging on two precepts)
So the Pharisees asked of the Lord through
a Lawyer, (one learned in their Laws), which
is the Greatest Commandment in the Law an
He quickly Taught them that they should Love,
Adonai YaHVeH with all their heart, soul and
mind and that the second one bears the same
likeness: to Love Your neighbor as Yourself.
And then He laid it out for them- "On these two,
"Hang," all the Law and the Prophets,
(hangs as upon a cross).
When we Love the Lord God with all our hearts,
souls, minds and our neighbors as ourselves
we die into Him and the Law and the Prophets
are suspended upon us like on a cross and we
are crucified unto the world and the world unto
us and the Law and the Prophets are fulfilled in
us.
Christ Loves God with all His heart, soul and mind
and when we Love Him His Love is Perfected in us
and the Law and the Prophets are also exemplified
through our Holy bodies.
When we die into Loving God with all of our heart,
soul and mind and our neighbor as ourselves we
are like a cross or like the, "ONE," who hung on it
and the Law and the Prophets are brought to
completion in us as they were Ordained to and they
