Too Hard To Overlook

Everywhere I look, every girl I see
Lookin' so pretty, but there all too young for me
Girls never dressed like that, I remember when
I'd do anything to be seventeen again

The clothes they hardly wear are too hard to overlook
Girls that young and hot already know how to cook
I wish I knew then everything I know now
Things would have been different, I’d a shown 'em how

I wonder if they know, or even if they care
At twelve they're giving head, in my day it was rare
Tempted and teased by teeny bopping foxes
Whose love and lust are seemingly endless paradoxes

Swimming pool blues in the heat of a summer night
But just because they want it doesn't make it right
The law says girls can't make love with older men
Now they make me wish I was seventeen again

Just the other day a girl came up to me
She said, "Take me down man, I'll give it up for free"
If she was there then she'd have been my girlfriend
Now she makes me wish I was seventeen again
