The Courage to Love

Can I conquer this? Is it really for everyone?
Can I literally get on this ship?
Some say this can be a dangerous ride with out your seat belt
Some say it can cause damage
But I won't go in detail
See they say it's not for sale it is not retail
So I buy another drink because love can stink can you sense that strong smell
Some say it doesn't exist until the first kiss
Some say it feels like a dagger cut after that first nut
But who are they to judge you I wish I knew what you've been through tbh I heard so many stories about you
And I'm starting to feel a little courageous about you
I didn't feel it at first sight
But thank God for day two
And if I pick up my broken pieces you can be the glue
Or you be the flames that burn all pain that ever knew
You can be sweet as apple pie
Or can empty pockets and take all the revenue
You're that aftermath to all my tragedies can you see my residue
This is pain and I'm afraid in the difference in age you been around longer are sure you will stay? if I give you a piece of my heart would you actually save?
Or would you let it get cold refrigerate?
Can we participate when your ex is Hate
And y'all got into it a lot that's why we're on a date I'm getting dressed up nice
And I can't wait because you're like a drug
You're like a message for the Man up above
You're like warms hands to a back rub
You're like soothing bubbles to a bath tub
I take a dip in and feel your suds
Triggering something off of one touch and I'm anticipating this so much
Because I finally built up the courage to meet you love
