Fast Eddie, Ride On

Ride on, Fast Eddie; ride on,

Just too tough to cry, when the game has let you down

You’re in the mood,

but,

You’re too ignorant to know when you’re licked,

Don’t know when to stop, behind or ahead,

Been the problem, all along,

Livin in another broken nightmare, tryin to reach out for a star

Don’t be too much in a hurry,

To get to these, pool halls of, smoke filled rooms,

Liquor & women a fast fix,

Just another young empty head,

Ride on Eddie, Ride on; Better let it ride on,

Too old to run home, too young to let it bleed,

Too old to learn another trick,

Still too young to care,

Let it go down slowly,

Let her Ride on an on, Fast Eddie, Let the game Ride on

Let it bleed;

Your too young to worry,

an still too old to learn to cry

Another broken heart waited at home,

Well we been here most of 3 days,

Trying to work me, most your money gone

Ride on, Fast Eddie; Ride on,

Always… Always another game,

Ride on toward, for, another time
