My Love

I have a love that is forever,
I have this love that will never say never,
and I have a love that tells me I matter.

This love stills my anxious heart,
and it keeps me from falling apart.
I enjoy this love an this love is lavished on me.

My Love is great,
My Love is kind,
My Love is never far behind
me, this love is my soul to be.

In a moment,
at my worst I know I can always cry,

And my love is there, no matter the day.

Love does not confuse me,
not will it ever abuse me.
Instead it comforts me,
this Love encircles me completely.

I ask for a reminder
and it gives it,
in a moment's notice,
I have that.

This love is mine,
and that's not ever going to change.
I, personally, am terrible at returning this love,
equally terrible at showing this love...

But this Love still wants me!
My Love tells me it won't ever cease pursuing me,
as undeserving as I am, as unappreciated as this Love is.
