Dear Mom,

You treat me like a problem that you just can't fix. At church you sing about how you've changed but at the end of the day you can still call me the bitch. I'll change when you do because you're such a role model. You've taught your children to talk down on one another even when what they say is never true.
You tell me that you're my mother. That doesn't mean that I have to do whatever you tell me. I never asked to be born so go ahead and kill me. I'm sick of this whole authority thing when Americans have freedom of speech. You've taken away every inch of freedom I've ever had. And you wonder why all of your children turned out to be so sad.
I never asked to be christian but you choose to force your belief on me. I don't want to live my life thinking that everything I do is a sin. What happened to living while you're young? Or are you too old to remember the thrill in that? You were a kiss up to your mother so I doubt that you ever experienced the freedom that I desire. I'm not going to be a kiss up like you.
I could write on and on about how shitty my life is until the day I die. I choose not to though because I'm not going to let petty things ruin the rest of my life.

              With little to no love,
                                The daughter you never wanted
