Our Love: Continued History (A Collaboration With TheGoddessMinerva)

i remember your tired hands
sliding brand new white satin
over thighs and above hips
it pooled between us
softly moved and tickled delicate skin
as hips swirled and tears
slipped from just married eyes

frenzied pulse and raw nerves
trying to hide behind a groom’s face
your sweet touch
releasing all tension
the warmth of your lips
fingers tracing curves
unlocking desire and tender emotion
happy that i was yours

going home
becoming home
packing up
moving out
lusting
loving
fighting
hardships all around
conceiving, twice
birthing, twice
making choices
craving even after all these years

submerged daily
in these loving souls
sharing built treasure
in this modest kingdom
no kings no queens
you’re still the heat that causes growth
maybe more than that first night

inevitable changes in body and mind
may cause slight detours on our
vastly scattered path
but with your hand and your heart
we will blaze a trail
worth remembering

such a pleasure writing this with my wife
