Blood red wine

(Verse)
An innocent baby in a hospital crib
She couldn’t know what was to become of her
All the drinking, yelling and hurting are things
A child cannot understand
Nobody there to protect her
Until the day she nearly bled out on the floor
She knew she had to walk out through that door

(Hook)
That little girl I knew
Wished she was never born
She thought everything was her own fault
She got the blame for every wrong cause
She couldn’t show her fear
A fist for every tear meant a scar for every year

(Verse)
A beautiful bride in a white wedding dress
That night she made a wish upon a star but
If what they say is true, her fate had been sealed
From the day that she was born
She should’ve seen the signs long ago
He promised to cherish and love her all over again
Her soul grew accustomed to this kind of pain

(Hook)
That little girl I knew
Wished she was never born
She thought everything was her own fault
She got the blame for every wrong cause
She couldn’t show her fear
A fist for every tear meant a scar for every year

(Bridge)
The first time she ever drank a glass of bloody wine
She couldn't take it anymore
That was the only time in her life she didn't have
To cry herself to sleep

(Hook)
That little girl I was
Went without saying goodbye
Telling no reason why
Every single raindrop falling from the sky
Cut her skin like the glass from that bottle of wine
But she was not alone
A name for every stone meant a heart for every soul
