Beta Wolf on the mend (Thursday, December 13, 2012)

Long towards the morning,
the quiet wood drifting
howling along the breeze

wolves roam wood and glen,
silent padding and
occasional howl is heard

songs nature oft sings
call to us in dreams
make us find ourselves, it seams

i would with you roam
this wild wood, were i
to know your name, were i free

i speak of other
wolves, one that broke me,
one that guides her, keeps her safe

were they to call me
and welcome me home
to them i would sure return

beta, omega
aspires to be,
guide me use me set me free

may i still feel love
once i do what i
must to keep me whole, alive

is there kindred soul
pick up broken word
and rebuild my shattered soul

keep my heart alive
keep her as a friend
we build future together
