Warrior

Today her spirit is lifted  
with each breath  
she reaches her arms towards the sun  
her instructor breathing life into her words  
they flow effortlessly  
the slow poetic dance
of words and movement  
from one pose to the next  
all the while  
the mantra  
breathe in peace  
breathe out peace  
they bend and stretch  
to the rhythm of breath  
opening their chests and lifting  
their hearts  
the balance  
of all that is good  
always being present  
in that moment  
lifting to it  
reaching for
the strength of the
Warrior Pose
