Piers Anthony - A Spell for Chameleon


-Which book has made you laugh?

i've lost count... books a whimsey, non sequiturs mostly much of Piers Anthony's work


-Which book has made you cry?

there have been so many, i cannot remember specifics, but i think that John Ringo has had the honor a few times, as has Anne McCaffrey


-Which book would you never have on your bookshelf?

Robert Anson Heinlein - The Wind Beneath His Wings

if a book disgusts an author enough to NOT write it, i definitely do not want to read it

instead we are stuck living it where the Religious Conservatives are turning this Representative Democracy into a Theocracy, deluding themselves into thinking that they are following the constitution and returning us to a christian nation.


-Which book are you reading at the moment?

been rereading the Game of Thrones series, need to get back to it

also need to read the Rump Wheel of time books


-Which book would you give as a present to a friend?

Jerry Pournelle, Larry Nieven, Michael Flynn - Fallen Angels... Glaciation it might be the wrong theory at the moment (Wrong point in the sunspot cycle), but the hatred of science is something to be discouraged.

i've lost count

-Which classic have you always meant to read and never got round to it?

i wish i could read the bible in its original languages...

-What is the worst book you have ever read?

don't remember it...


-Is there a particular book or author that inspired you to be a writer?

humm, hard to say...  i just woke up in the middle of the night needing to write the firelight haiku...


-What is your favorite time of day to write?

night

couch at laptop...

Note pad, i only need word processing for formatting...


-Which fictional character would you most like to have met?

My raven...
after ten years she has become a fiction to me...
stalking each other on twitter is not enough


-Who, in your opinion, is the greatest writer of all time?

Robert Frost, Robert Anson Heinlein, Rudyard Kipling


-Which book have you found yourself unable to finish reading?

i need to start reading again...  i loved it the first run through, but i lost stream mid way through the third book, i think... trying to read the first 5 in pdf was not a good idea...  but better than buying the same book multiple times because they changed the damn cover


-What is your favorite word?
