"Common Man"

What they allow us to know, may be the extent of our knowledge,
see—dollars make sense, and commonly spent on college fees
as "quality debt"—exchanging credits for credit cards commonly kept,
but I don't speak for the common man — I’m common man, speaking —
A profit turned on our promised land where prophets stand, bleeding —
From the palm of his hand, was an honest man feeding
on long-begotten scams that stopped all the stampeding,
like a God-damned accomplishment — nod if you plan on leaving
with a popular contraband, accomplice to man, grieving,
and I couldn't say I blame you for a commonplace routine —
In fact, I understand who confiscates it, complicates who dreams —
Left them hanging by a rope of long-debated schemes,
and ever-changing kaleidoscopes of non-related scenes —
Never let them congregate or consummate a thing,
it's how they led a population of indoctrinated teens
to an end in confrontation...then propagated seeds,
implanted psychologically — it's quite astonishing,
how diabolically they planned it with candor like apologies
a policy demanded; it standardized hypocrisy —
And we're standing by it properly like property to manage,
and can't even see it...blinded by what's all but true —
Hide behind our fallen troops, as militarized police forces
polarize this lawless coup — Stall the youth,
if “hold the line" just coincides with broken spines and solitude,
and this is what it feels like — "real life" is all on you,
so they're not gonna mobilize ’til notarized as flawless proof!
Sentiment, is far more valuable than evidence presented,
and nothing comes cheaper — they're socializing dissent instead medicine,
localizing infection is just etiquette as corruption runs deeper —
I’m done vocalizing intentions to my next of kin, it's time for action —
Crime, distraction—disaster is sacred and taking capture,
manufacturing hatred while awaiting the rapture —
Inherently violent...despite the objections and selfless passions —
Apparently silence, is slightly suggestive of "helpless" and "passive"...
And any religion as widely accepted, is seldom practiced,
though highly effective—rightly deceptive; it held them captive
with backward speeches, poison dogma, and fascist leeches —
What traction teaches—is voiceless pawns in master’s thesis
is forward progress — I'm an American, born of conquest —
Yet, war and terrorism are foreign concept? Abhorrent nonsense —
Torch the barriers, we're storming Congress—the more, the merrier —
Scourge and Jaundice, sordid characters all scorned and godless —
Victims of extortion…but abortion's scarier to a "corporate conscience" —
Nothing short of distorted—they need something to exploit,
and what better than a child? Senators turned predator,
but never been on trial—despite the letters Heaven sent us,
forever in denial…empty rhetoric and festering veterans,
This time, the messengers left their editors in piles —
Nothing was uncommon…but trust in our begotten poor,
and what we have in common, we'll belittle with a bomb before
establishing our dominance…stop it—you're fidgeting —
Ritalin riddling consciousness, a consequence of Common Core,
and little political cognizance — model of what God was for —
A monolith of promises, accomplice to a pompous war,
Accomplishments have gotten us a confident, but rotten core...
Sense is not that common...said the common man who commandeered
a commonplace existence — commonly mistaken for "American" and "dreaming"...
