Distant Star (so far away)
Distant Star at the end of the universe
Please pull me to you
I need you
I want to silently float through space
Just to see your face
I already saw Heaven
It was alright
But I want you
You are quiet and don't need anyone's validation
You are a beautiful creation
I like the way you think
You're refreshing as a drink
Of ice cold water
You are Tranquility's daughter
And with time you grow hotter
You're worthy of rhyme
I want to feel your rays of love
You're so enchanting, shining up above
I'll get a tattoo of you
So I don't forget about you
I know this wish may never come true
But I'll still write of you
Everyday and pray I might see you someday
Even when a few decades are gone and my face is gray
You won't change and your beauty will remain
Distant Star, so far away
I want you every second of every minute of every passing hour
And I'll search for you every night in this glass tower
Sheltered by trees of everlasting green
Never has there been a more dreamy scene
Don't forget about me
I'll whisper to you at night
So just listen for my voice...

This is a beautiful poem, thank you for that wonderful read.
In a way I can relate to it, but every experience, no matter how it seems will be different in many ways.
