Dense Nights
She sleeps through nights so dense it's hard to make
Her out upon the bed, when there's no light;
Who needs illumination? Dusk can take
The woman on the sheets. Why should she fight
Against her dreams, as all her aspirations
Belong to him, exactly as he'd choose?
Devoting little guile to expectations,
He knows she'll spread when sleeping. The abuse
That he'll mete out is all the vile bitch needs
To keep her sweet, with tears to help her rest
Upon her laurels, since he soon exceeds
The darkness in the denseness of his acts
That, though she sleeps so densely, she attracts.
Her out upon the bed, when there's no light;
Who needs illumination? Dusk can take
The woman on the sheets. Why should she fight
Against her dreams, as all her aspirations
Belong to him, exactly as he'd choose?
Devoting little guile to expectations,
He knows she'll spread when sleeping. The abuse
That he'll mete out is all the vile bitch needs
To keep her sweet, with tears to help her rest
Upon her laurels, since he soon exceeds
The darkness in the denseness of his acts
That, though she sleeps so densely, she attracts.
