I See You Now
Seven meetings until you felt relaxed enough to allow me to touch your face
I softly ran my forefinger over your jawline, your skin felt so warm and soft
The perfume was fresh and light
I stroked the nape of you neck, you seemed to like that and you trustingly closed your eyes
Nose to nose, and as I softly stroked your cheeks I felt the warmth of your breath
Time seemed to, well it really did not seem to matter
Your head turned to face mine
You were before me with sweet abandonment yet I still could not see you
There was a barrier between us and it took a little time to figure out what it was

I carefully removed your glasses, you tensed and looked anxious
