The idea for this, again, came from me, singing and screaming in the shower.  It sounds repetitive in my sense, because I wrote a lot of songs about bonds, friendships and losses.  This particular song is a story type of song and a personal song in its own concept.
I was thinking about a band whom lost a member or friend in the band.  I pictured the best friend in the band, in class raising his hand(hence the song title)for his friend and then I pictured the band playing in front of a big crowd singing this song.
This song is for a lot of bands who suffered the loss of their friend and for anyone who loss a loved one.
