Pain Sears throughout my body
Like a dagger ripping away my muscles
A gasp escapes my trembling lips,
my fists clenched tightly and sweaty

He looked at me wide-eyed,
pulling his lips away from hers
She grins at me like the Cheshire cat
He gets up, about to "explain"
Stinging tears prod my eyes
He calls my name in panic as I shakily smile

I looked down at the floor
"BECAUSE I DONT NEED YOU ANYWAYS!"
My feet trotted loudly as I ran
He called for me,
The only thing I left behind for him were my tears
