Should of Listened

Giving out this wisdom with my life as my credential,
Don't rush to find a wife, but look for who has potential.
Then prowl on the low, like this is confidential,
They don't all need to know, so the stealth is essential.

But now you have a girl,
So let me have your attention,
You are in contention,
For the accidental fam extension.

So use all the methods
That lead to prevention,
Because I know it wasn't your intention,
For a girl to steal your pension.

You didn't listen.

Hate to rub it in, I don't want to see you fall,
While your girl is taking the test right up in the stall,
You're thinking negative..and you hope that's the result.

You say a prayer..God is the first one that you call,
He said "you only reach out when you need me,
To fix your mistakes, like it's really that easy
I want to talk to you when you aren't scared or bleeding,
Or when it's real serious, like your family ain't eating."

Now you feel ashamed, just as you should,
Then your girl walks out, just like she said she would,
And by the look on her face,
You could tell it wasn't good.
