A blanket of white deep silence

All around lies
a blanket of white deep
silence stills the soul
there is an overflowing box,
hidden deep within my heart
it contains some things I have lost,
that were there at the start
there are broken dreams
and tears,
hidden underneath some pain
a river of exquisite blue
once flowed where now
it is silenced in the cold shadows
there are dreams
I dreams for many years,
yet never could obtain
I don't know how long
I will last I'm parched
and burned by the shadows in my soul,
hiding from my future
ghost is now what I have chosen
there is nothing but
time now to wait in silence
for the angel of death
to end my time in
