I just wish I could see what you see when you look at me
I just wish I could see what you see when you look at me:
I want to see what you see, when you look at me
I want to know what you know, when you think
I want to do what you do, when you make a film
I want to be everything you need, want and dream
I want to see what you see, when you look at me
I left you alone today; I did this for many reasons
I wanted to get some work done, and I am caught up
I talked to some people about a few business plans
I had lunch, went to a meeting, and I thought of you
I want to see what you see, when you look at me
I wondered if you would miss me, and you did, you did
I had you there in the back of my head, I tried to focus, and I did
I accomplished so much today I learned that you’re crazy for me
I learned I am really good at what I do, decisions can be tough
I want to see what you see, when you look at me
I am tired it is true, but I had to do what I had to do, and I didn’t need you
I made decisions and spoke at the meeting, and I drove around just to breath
I took the steps instead of the elevator; I didn’t need you I got things done
I didn’t talk to you today I left you alone, and I know you’re crazy for me

Am I pretty, am I strong, am I leading well enough, am I worth the trouble, am I?
