Time
Come and stand
By the lighted brink of eternal rest
See your dreams and ambitions
Slowly tumble by your feet
Like sand flowing out of a broken hour glass
Down over the edge into the waiting darkness
Cold yet serene somehow
Look over and beyond
At the somehow familiar, new void
That frightens yet beckons to you
To your existence
Let reality set in
You donít have long to live
All is slipping away
The days of glee have all been exhausted
All that remains is reality and pain.
