LIQUID WORDS
Liquid words ebb and flow
rising then cresting on a clean paper shore
they trickle gently across the page,
a steady stream in no hurry to set the stage.
Sometimes they can tumble out in torrents ,
jagged and violent in an rambling gush,
faster than the writer can compose,
organize or make incoherent sense of.
At times they can be weighty, profound
like the deepest oceanic abyss
to be read and re-read so as to
decipher all the nuanced meanings.
Words can also be dark, full of foreboding,
invoking...

DARK POEM

Penumbra
Bolt upright I sit up in my bed dripping sweat
stinking to high hell of fear and dread.
Breathing hard, fast and shallow
I listen to the dark for movement or direction to follow,
there is none my imagination is running amok
there is only the ticking of the clock…
All seems to be well,
so again I lay me down to sleep
and hope the devils don’t
come back to my dreams ,
for they shall take me if they can
as payment for being their right hand.
There is no escaping what I have done
no redemption for battles won. ...

Questions of wisdom
Questions of wisdom…
A fortnight ago I lay in bed thinking…
My eyes closed I began sway,
formulating what needed digital conveying,
mentally composing, figuring out
the wherewithal of this portraying.
I effervesced with concerned sentiment,
expounding on that which needed saying
forthwith, and in brutal honesty,
conveying my discontent in an
unapologetically unfiltered approach.
So many things kept my mind from restful sleep,
pushing me into the world between
cognizance and peaceful slumber, ...

MISCELLANEOUS POEM

The Poet's Omerta
Omerta...hidden from prying eyes
my actions that are not easily divined
I seem efemerally dreamed,
slipping away at dawn's first gleam.
A whisper, barely audible is what you hear,
for a moment you doubt thinking it is absurd
yet once more I interumpt twilight's silence,
as I drift along the night's breeze
conferring my presence with relative ease.
"If you do not hear me speak
does it mean I have not spoken?"
"If I am not a great beauty
does that in turn mean
my beauty is not great?"
"So if you do not see me...

Elysium
I see you from the other side
wondering;
what is the hurry to be
the first on every adventure or ride?
Do you think if your not first in line you won't get there,
that there will be some
preferential treatment for the over achievers?
Hahaha....
Slow or fast, happy or sad,
willing or not we will all end up
shadows in the ether of the next world.
Watching the living whether looking down from umongst high
or up from the dwellings below or walking along side,
never again to interact, smell, touch, taste... ...
wondering;

Paint me with the color of your words
in all the shades and hues
your vocabulary palette can confer.
Let me feel each stroke across my skin
as you deliciously describe
all manner of lusty sin.
Oh how you love to prolong a tease
your bold words caresses my mind
not unlike a gentle breeze.
You lace together the most elaborate scenarios
into a masters panorama of chiaroscuros,
hidden from view you draw out the innuendos
shaded in all manner of red colours.
You have become a firebrand
permanently marking its way through my...

The Flavor Of Love
The flavor of forever, the potion of you and I,
I’ll be your salt and you are my pepper
seasoning our lives to make it that much better
I like the lovely taste of you and me,
the flavor we create just promises to get
better and better exponentially .
You were made per my design
the way you and I fit together
can only be something created by the divine,
you are my relief when I feel pain
the sunshine, when from my eyes there is rain.
I am your cheerleader in life’s game
claiming success faithfully in your name.
You are my lion,...

The Male Principle
THE MALE PRINCIPLE
The male principle is part
of a cosmic configuration,
that confounds those of
small minded dispensation.
“Dynamic-Magnetic”:
The Male/Female Principle
is profoundly important,
and enduringly kinetic.
The male-female principle
does not refer to the physical,
but to the archetype of the male
and the female in the metaphysical.
Many times misunderstood,
it can be better expressed in concepts.
Consider the Sun/Moon, one brings light, gives life
the other brings the rest and repose of darkness....
The male principle is part

The Manuscript
Prolog: Once upon a time and a long time ago
a tragic but common story begins to unfold,
there was a woman burdened with many woes,
she worked very, very hard to makes her ends meet
head down she toiled never a complaint heard
nor ever a tear was to be seen.
She knew she was past her prime,
“homely” some men would say,
she was in effect as plain as long was the day,
no great beauty of her time
and yet she was uncommonly kind,
hardworking, dedicated to a fault,
domestically, in the arts of a wife, well taught.
And so time passed,...

DARK POEM

Silvery Moon
Something dark and unnatural
has awoken from within my depths,
A beast I fought for years
long and hard to keep asleep and dormant.
Alone I stand no allies or friends,
against the demon at my door
Using darkness as it's shield
and fear as it's paramour.
Oh how it whispers
sickly sweet nothings in my ear
as the night terrors rape my mind
again and again with parelizing fear
YESSSSSSSSSSS,
the evil has awoken once more,
reminding me of horrors
I prayed were long gone.
The luridly gruesome visions
make my eyes...
has awoken from within my depths,

Dark Pools
In the dark pools of my mind
there are places where the sun never shines,
where the rage reigns supreme
the nightmares are ending.
These pools hidden away,
kept out sight in my daily masquerade
but when hope fails to ignite
I sink ever deep into my darkest night.
Swim, swim, swim bitch!!!
Swim like your life depends on it!,
Because it does, treading water
Is simply not be enough.
In the dark pools of my mind
there are places where the sun never shines,
where hope disappears into a fog of despair,
no one can hear...
there are places where the sun never shines,
